This exhibition of installations and drawings was the culmination of a 3 month residency at the artists’ collective Artists Unlimited - part of their annual international guest artist programme.

The theme of the series of works was made in direct response to the experience of an intensive period of creative opportunity away from the rigors and responsibilities of ‘normal’ life at home. These deliberately enigmatic pieces reflect upon the ambivalence experienced by, at once, freedom and isolation.

The installations are site specific, drawing upon the particularities, atmospheres and physical character of each of the 3 available installation spaces.
