Casa Matei Corvin. This installation was made in the birthplace of the famous Hungarian King in the Romanian Town of Cluj Napoca.
Using the textures lining the medieval streets outside the house as reference, over a period of one week I played with shapes loosely resembling cobblestones. The casa (house) is now used as the Art Theory department of the Cluj Academy of Art. This residency was used as an opportunity for students to further their understanding of contemporary approaches to ceramics.
